LOST & FOUND UPDATE – February 26th – March 2nd

Will be the last opportunity to look for your students lost jackets, sweaters, lunch boxes etc.  Students always have the opportunity to look for their jackets, sweaters, etc. before school, during lunch/recess time and after school.  Parents, please remind your student to look for any items they might have lost.  You are also welcome to look for your child’s lost items in the morning, during your child’s lunch or after school.  Any clothes left after March 2nd will be donated.

Thank you!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

You are cordially invited to attend Harmony School of Science – Austin’s Comprehensive Needs Assessment meeting

Monday, February 26th at 3:45pm in room #140.

Our purpose is to identify educational strengths and areas that need improvement. This will help us prioritize the areas that most affect student achievement and guide the development of our campus improvement plan.  We hope to see you there!

If you live in District 46, you’re invited to participate in a Town Hall Meeting regarding the election for your Texas House Representative.  The candidates for the House District 46  district race will be present.  The forum will discuss charter education and reform.  More specifically the candidates will be there to answer your questions as well as hit on important topics such as teacher salary, school finance, local control and other policy measures that will likely impact your profession.  It is important to have your voice heard at this event, and I would truly appreciate and welcome your participation.
This meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 21st at Austin Achieve Charter School from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.  Pizza and beverages will be served and we will provide childcare at the facility if you wish to bring your family (see flyer attached at the bottom).

This forum is a great opportunity for you to address your lawmaker and to showcase the great outcomes in terms of student achievement taking place in your classrooms.  We hope that you will plan to attend.  Please RSVP to Dustin Cox (dcox@harmonytx.org).  I appreciate your time and thoughtful consideration.  Hope to see you there!
