TRANSPORTATION RULES
- Follow the driver’s instructions at all times.
- Please enter and leave the vehicle in an orderly manner.
- Keep feet, books, instrument cases, and other objects out of the aisle.
- Do not deface the vehicle or its equipment.
- Do not put head, hands, arms, legs, or any object out of any window, or throw objects inside or outside of the vehicle.
- Do not possess or use any form of tobacco on school buses.
- Observe all the usual classroom rules.
- Stay seated while the vehicle is moving.
- Fasten seat belts, if available.
- Wait for the driver’s signal before leaving, or crossing in front of the vehicle.

The First Day of School is tomorrow, Wednesday, August 15th – Student doors will open at 7:20am. Students will enter the school from the drop off area in the back of the building.

The front office will be open from 7:15am-4pm Monday thru Friday during the school year. If you have not turned in all registration paperwork, please do so as soon as possible. Get a good night’s sleep and we’ll see you tomorrow!
Welcome to HSS-Austin to our Kindergarten students & parents! Join us for Kindergarten Orientation on Tuesday, August 14th.
Classes: KA & KC – 9am-11am
Classes: KB & KD – 10am-12pm

Please review the attached HSS-Austin 2018-2019 Bus Route Flyer for bus depot locations. We will still have bus transportation from HSS to HSA-Pflugerville at Wells Branch.

Lunch applications & School Cafe accounts are now available online! You may log on and complete the lunch application for the 2018-2019 school year. All families are encouraged to complete the lunch applications each school year. You are also able to create your student’s lunch account online prior to or after orientation.
