“B” Rating by TEA

TEA recently released the 2019 school ratings based on the state accountability and Harmony School of Science – Austin received a “B” rating.  The campus continues to see tremendous growth from 2018 with a 6% increase.

We are proud of the hard work and dedication of our wonderful students and staff.  We look forward to our continued growth and becoming an “A” rated school next year.

First Day of School – Wednesday, August 14th!

The First Day of School is Wednesday, August 14th  –  Student doors will open at 7:20am.  Students will enter the school from the drop off area in the back of the building.

The front office will be open from 7:15am-4pm Monday thru Friday during the school year.  If you have not turned in all registration paperwork, please do so as soon as possible.  Enjoy your last few days of summer break… we’ll see you soon!

Kinder Cub Camp Orientation – Monday, August 12th, 2019, 12 – 2pm

Welcome to HSS-Austin to our Kindergarten students & parents!  Join us for Kindergarten Cub Camp & Orientation on Monday, August 12th from 12-2pm.

During Cub Camp you will be able to:

  • Drop off Supplies 

  • Fill out lunch application forms (may be completed at home)

  • Meet your student’s classroom teacher

  • Participate in a parent activity

  • Have your student participate in an activity

  • Purchase uniforms

  • Receive information about HSS after school clubs

  • Fill out classroom information for your child

What can be done at home?

Review & Reference the Orientation Packet (includes:  HSS-Austin policies, procedures, drop off and dismissal instructions, bus information, dress code policy), lunch application instructions, School Supply List and the 2019-2020 Academic Calendar.
