We would like to announce HSS Austin’s first annual LEGO Competition. HSS Austin would like to celebrate our STEM culture and allow students to work in a team of their choosing to build a stem related LEGO structure and compete in a student-friendly competition across all grade levels. If your child is interested in getting involved here are some important dates:❏ Teams will meet on the following days:

  • Wednesday, 9/11 at 3:30 – student LEGO team will meet to discuss their ideas and plan design, Lego competition rubric will be given to students.
  • Wednesday, Sept 18th, 2019 at 3:30 for student LEGO team will continue planning design.
  • Competition Day: Saturday, 9/28 – 8:30am-12:30pm

Join us for an informational meeting for all parents of our ESL students on Thursday September 26th – 5-6pm.

Online registration & payments are now available for the campus club offerings we currently have available.

Please note that club spot availability is limited. Once a club is full the online option will be labeled: “Out of Stock”.

Online Ordering Instructions:

1. Go to: https://harmonytx.revtrak.net/austin/harmony-school-of-science-austin/#/list2. Click on Clubs – select your student’s grade level

3. Select your student’s club of interest (the day of the club is listed first: Mon – Garden Club)

4. Select the payment option you prefer (September/Monthly or Semester)

5. Enter the student’s name. Click on “Add to Cart” and proceed with your order for payment until you receive confirmation

HSS-Austin After School Outside Club Partners – Meeting Times: 3:10-4:10

In accordance with the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students, Harmony Public Schools will begin taking referrals for kindergarten and newly-enrolled students in grades 1-12 for gifted and talented screening. Anyone interested in the educational welfare of these students may refer them for assessment.

The forms must be returned to the front office by Friday, September 27, 2019. G/T assessment period will take place in October.
