There will be a Student Holiday and Parent-Teacher Conference Day on Wednesday, September, 30th. Some Parent Teacher Conferences will also take place within the week. If you have not scheduled your conference, please reach out to your child’s teacher for scheduling availability.

Although we are virtually in class we can still have some fun. Join us in our First Spirit Week for the school year! Don’t forget that all spirit day attire must still be school appropriate according to our Harmony Free Dress Policy.

Monday – Crazy Hair or Hat Day:  keep the bed hair, style your hair in a silly way or wear a silly hat

Tuesday – Bye Bye Beach Day:  wear your favorite beach attire or hat as we say bye bye to summer

Wednesday – NO SCHOOL – Parent Teacher Conference Day

Thursday – College on Your Mind Day:  wear your favorite college shirt

Friday – PJammin’ on Friday:  wear your favorite pajamas (must be school appropriate)

Reading skills are foundational to educational success for all students.

Encouraging students to read more improves their skills and promotes a love of reading they can continue throughout their educational years and into adulthood.

That’s why Harmony Public Schools is hosting a fall Reading Challenge for all students in all campuses.

Join your classmates from across your campus and across the state from Monday, October 5, 2020 though Sunday, January 3, 2021 as together we show our love for reading and discover new and exciting ideas, authors, and stories through our favorite books.

Along the way, we’ll recognize our top readers and campuses each month, share favorite book picks, and ask for your reviews on some of your favorite reads.

The reading challenges by grade are:

1 Poetry
3 Student Choice

Join us for an informational meeting for all parents of our ESL students on Thursday September 3rd from 5-6pm. The Zoom meeting link will be sent to parents from Mrs. Cox.

In accordance with the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students, Harmony Public Schools will begin taking referrals for kindergarten and newly- enrolled students in grades 1-12 for gifted and talented screening.  Anyone interested in the educational welfare of these students may refer them for assessment.
