Harmony Public Schools is excited to announce that the first live stream E-sports game between Harmony Science Academy- Pflugerville and Concordia University will take place on Friday, April 16th at 6:00 pm.

This exhibition event will be broadcasted on twitch.tv channel if you are interested in cheering the HSA Pflugerville team on. Let’s wish the best of luck to the HSA-Pflugerville E-Sports team!


College & Career Spirit Week will be a blast for our College Bound Tigers! All spirit day attire must still be school appropriate according to our Harmony Free Dress Policy.

Monday – College & Career Dreamin’ Monday:  wear your favorite pj’s as we dream of our future

Tuesday – Dress to Impress Tuesday:  dress to impress as your dream career or dress fancy as you would for an interview

Wednesday – Wild About College Wednesday:  wear animal prints: shirt, socks, hat, accessory or wear orange and/or black to represent our Tiger stripes

Thursday – College Tailgate Thursday:  wear your favorite college shirt, jersey or just wear the school colors. Feel free to add college game day accessories (#1 hand, pom-pom, socks, a college team hat or big game day hair bows, etc.)

We invite all 4th Grade Parents to join us on Tuesday, March 30th at 5pm for a meeting to discuss end of year details including the upcoming STAAR Writing assessment and other important information.

We are hosting a College Door Decorating Contest for our staff & students to participate in:

  • On campus students will participate by assisting their homeroom teacher with their classroom door.
  • Online students will participate by decorating their bedroom door, creating a poster or tri-fold board.
  • PRIZES for 2 classroom winners for on campus and 2 winners for at home students!
  • Photo submissions should be sent via Facebook or by sending an email (with Subject Line: College Door Contest) to Ms. Williams – jearnal.williams@harmonytx.org for posting by Wednesday, March 31st, 6pm.
  • Voting begins next Thursday, April 1st on campus and via Facebook for at home students.

So pick your favorite college, your parent or your teacher’s college and start decorating!


The purpose of this announcement is to inform our HPS communities about changes to the Student Success Initiative (SSI) promotion/retention and retesting requirements for the 2020–2021 school year. In light of past and anticipated impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Commissioner of Education has waived grade promotion requirements for students in fifth and eighth grade for the 2020–2021 school year. Notwithstanding anything the contrary in prior policy or procedure, Harmony Public Schools will comply with the Commissioner’s waiver of SSI requirements for this school year.

Our February Spread the Love Spirit Week has been rescheduled due to Winter Storm Uri. Let’s show some love and kindness to lift our spirits. All spirit day attire must still be school appropriate according to our Harmony Free Dress Policy.

Monday – Spread the Love Day:  wear Valentine attire – shirts or socks with hearts or words of love, wear red, pink and/or white and tell someone what they mean to you

Tuesday – Let Kindness Shine Day:  wear anything shiny, with sparkles, bright or neon colors & give someone a “glowing” compliment.

Wednesday – Dreaming of Kindness Day:   wear your pj’s or a shirt with happy emoji’s or other happy thoughts and share your Kindness Dream with your class.

Thursday – Peace, Love & Kindness Day:  wear tie-dye or attire with words of positivity & spread positive words to your your friends, teachers or class.

Our ESL Department will host an online TELPAS Virtual Parent Meeting for parents of our English Language Learning (ELL) students on Thursday, February 18th at 5pm. Details will be sent directly to parents soon.

The day Texas became its own country is known as Texas Independence Day. Let’s celebrate by wearing our best Texan/Western attire on Tuesday, March 2nd.

You can wear Texas shirts, hats, socks or other accessories, or just go all the way Western!
