The First Day of School is tomorrow, Wednesday, August 15th  –  Student doors will open at 7:20am.  Students will enter the school from the drop off area in the back of the building.

The front office will be open from 7:15am-4pm Monday thru Friday during the school year.  If you have not turned in all registration paperwork, please do so as soon as possible.  Get a good night’s sleep and we’ll see you tomorrow!

Lunch applications & School Cafe accounts are now available online!  You may log on and complete the lunch application for the 2018-2019 school year.  All families are encouraged to complete the lunch applications each school year.  You are also able to create your student’s lunch account online prior to or after orientation.

Harmony uniform shirts are in!  You may come in to purchase school uniforms or take care of any other school related business for the upcoming school year during our summer hours of Monday-Friday, 8am-3pm.   Discounts will be applied to quantity purchases of 3 or more of the exact uniform shirt item purchased.

Healthy Summer Meals for Kids

When the School Year Ends, Summer Meals begin!

Our children need nutritious meals to learn, grow and thrive — even when school is out.

With the Summer Food Service Program, children and teens ages 18 and younger can continue to eat healthy throughout the summer at no cost, just by showing up at a participating meal site.

STARTING JUNE 1, FIND A NEARBY MEAL SITE AND HOURS OF OPERATION:

5th Grade Graduation will be on Tuesday, May 22nd at 5:30pm. Please join us as we wish our 5th graders the best success transitioning to Middle School.

Our yearly Field Day event is coming up soon! We are getting ready for our awesome fun day of field day activities. Parent volunteers are needed for this event so please sign up on VOLY – harmony.voly.org to volunteer for Field Day 2018!

As we get close to the end of our 2017-2018 school year, we have several events and activities that will keep us all busy on our last week of school.

The last day for HSS After School clubs will be on Friday, May 18th.

All students will proceed with regular dismissal at 3:10pm on the last week of school Monday, May 21st-Thursday, May 24th.

 

Graduation time is coming soon! Kindergarten Graduation will be on Friday, May 18th.

We will host our 5th Grade Historical Figures Wax Museum on Thursday, April 26th. Our 5th graders will provide a biographical experience with costumes included. There will be a Parent Viewing from 8:30-9:00am. We hope to see you there!

 

The Parent Academy has been cancelled for the 2017-2018 school year.  Please look for more information on the 2018-2019 Parent Academy.

 

We will have graduation pictures on Monday, April 16th. All Kindergarten and 5th grade students will be photographed in a cap & gown for graduation pictures on this day. This is NOT a free dress picture day, please come to school in your Harmony uniform.

 

We are getting pumped with our Tiger Spirit.  There will be a STAAR Pep Rally on Monday, April 9th to cheer on our STAAR testing students!  Go Tigers!

STAAR Testing will be on Tuesday, April 10th & Wednesday, April 11th. We will have a closed campus ALL WEEK for STAAR Preparation, testing and make-up testing. There will be no visitors all week. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Our campus will sponsor a fundraiser for the Spring semester with the Save Around Coupon Books. These coupon books are filled with all sorts of useful savings from restaurants, sporting goods stores, shopping stores, family entertainment and much more!

Each book is $25 and each student that sells their first 5 will receive a free coupon book for their family.

If you would like to participate, each book you plan to sell will be pre-paid at the front office. You may pre-pay for one at a time or multiple books, once you have sold them you may pick up some more. Books may even be purchased online for family and friends that live out of town. The funds raised from the fundraiser will go toward student activities and guest assembly events.
